The book also includes an indepth description of Glasmuseet’s history and activities over 25 years. It also contains a discussion of contemporary glass between five prominent Danish glassmakers.

Texts in Danish and English.

The book can be purchased at the museum for DKK 250.

The release of GLASSIFIED is the last of three steps celebrating Glasmuseet’s 25th anniversary in 2011.

The anniversary year was initially celebrated with the opening of a new permanent digital learning centre at Glasmuseet Ebeltoft: World of glass in January. World of Glass is situated on the 2nd floor of the old building, which was totally renovated for this purpose.

WORLD OF GLASS
In the World of Glass a number of interactive digital and physical elements explain some of the many exciting facts about glass and glassmaking. One of these elements is "The Digital Glass Blower", which allows visitors to experience glassmaking "hands on".
World of Glass has been developed in cooperation with Hans Thyge & co, Yoke interactive design and Syncro.
